What are the new dates for The Inspired Home Show 2021?

Where will The Inspired Home Show 2021 be located?
Although the dates have changed, the venue remains the same – the Show will take place in Chicago at McCormick Place Convention Center from August 7-10, 2021.
My company has already completed a space application for The Inspired Home Show 2021 when it was taking place in March. Is there anything that I need to do?
Yes, you must complete the addendum acknowledging the new Show dates in August. To do this, visit your USI portal log-in and click on “Addendum” in the task list. In order to secure a space location and placement, the addendum must be returned by August 31st. For additional questions please contact your sales manager.
My company planned to be an exhibitor at The Inspired Home Show 2020, which was cancelled, and we used the credit to pay for our booth space at the 2021 Show. With the change in timing, if we no longer wish to exhibit, are refunds available?
No, the credit from the 2020 Show can only be used toward the 2021 Show, which will now be in August.
My company was not a paid exhibitor at The Inspired Home Show 2020, which was cancelled, and did not use any credited money to pay for our booth space at the 2021 Show. However, we have completed a space application and paid for space at the 2021 Show. With the change in timing, if we no longer wish to exhibit, are refunds available?
Yes, refunds for new 2021 exhibitors not using a 2020 Show cancellation credit to pay for space are available through August 31, 2020. Membership fees are non-refundable.
What if I already made hotel accommodations for the March 2021 Show?
Your March 2021 hotel reservations will be cancelled and you will receive rebooking priority when the new housing block opens later this year.
What if I already contracted with a Show vendor for the March 2021 Show?
Please contact your Show vendor directly to initiate cancellation of services and/or shift to August.
Will I have to pay membership again for the August 2021 Show?
If you have already paid your membership for the 2021 Show, we are extending the membership period through August 2021. If you have not paid for your 2021 membership then you will need to renew it. Membership is not refundable.
What health and safety precautions are being planned for The Inspired Home Show 2021?
IHA, McCormick Place and our vendor partners are working together on an action plan that complies with recommendations and safety procedures from CDC, the State of Illinois and the City of Chicago, while also meeting the needs of our industry.

What if the Covid-19 pandemic is still ongoing in August 2021?
The IHA board of directors and staff are watching the Covid-19 situation closely and will make decisions regarding any further changes if and when appropriate.
What are the Show dates in 2022 and in future years? Will the Show return to the traditional March timing?
IHA will survey exhibitors and buyers in the coming weeks to collect current and relevant buying pattern data to determine appropriate timing for future Shows. Additional information regarding the dates for The Inspired Home Show 2022 will be available in the fall of 2020.
What resources are available from IHA between now and August of 2021?
IHA will continue to develop and release practical education and resources for the industry. Please visit theinspiredhomeshow.com to view virtual displays, product galleries, and educational sessions. Please visit www.housewares.org to view virtual educational sessions and resources related to U.S. governmental assistance and COVID-19 relief.
IHA is also working to develop a digital experience that brings exhibitors and buyers directly together throughout the year. Building off of the existing Housewares Connect 365 platform, a 2.0 version will offer an updated graphical user interface, expanded data and new search capabilities to offer users a more pleasing, meaningful and productive experience. This platform will include virtual events, intended to help the industry bridge the gap between Shows. Additional information will be available in the fall of 2020.

The Freeman Exhibitor Services Kit is expected to be available in April 2021.
I have already registered to attend the Show as a Buyer or Trade Guest. Do I need to re-register now that the Show has moved to August?
No, all attendee registrations already made for The Inspired Home Show 2021 will apply to the August event. However, you may be sent a communication from our registration team if your demographic information is not complete.
