IHA is offering a new online press room where exhibitors can upload their Show press kits for free. You can upload Word documents, jpeg, png, gif and pdf files. The Inspired Home Show online press room is located on and is searchable by category or company name. It will be promoted to all news media who register for the 2022 Show and will be available all year long.

To get as much exposure with the media as possible, exhibitors can upload their digital kits and send paper or digital kits to the Show News Center for the media to take. The sooner you upload your kit, the more exposure possible.

Do I need a press release about my products at The Inspired Home Show?

Yes! The media are hungry for content. Hundreds of members of the media including editors and writers for print and digital media outlets, social influencers and bloggers attend The Inspired Home Show. So, there is tremendous opportunity to get media attention for your products.

How Does My Press Release Writer Work?

All you need to do is complete a simple online form that asks questions about your product and Show participation. Once you complete it and submit it, the information launches to our service bureau where it is merged into a smart template and then goes through a thorough review by a qualified editor. You then receive your press release which complies with Associated Press style guidelines.

What is the cost to use My Press Release Writer?

The cost is $119 per press release.

What information is in a complete press kit?

A press kit contains additional information for the media. It can include a table of contents, one or more press releases and high-resolution images and videos, a company backgrounder, a FAQ/tip sheet on your products, feature and lifestyle story ideas, and biographies of the company’s leadership team.

How do I distribute my press release or press kit once it’s complete?

Be sure to post it on your website. The Inspired Home Show offers a News Center (at no charge) where your press release or press kit can be picked up by interested media, and new this year, a free online press room. You can distribute it to The Inspired Home Show’s pre-registered media list, which will be available in mid-February. My Press Release Writer also offers distribution on your behalf to the media who cover The Inspired Home Show. There is a small additional fee for this service.

When should I have my press materials ready?

A press release can be created and distributed any time before, during or after The Inspired Home Show. If you choose to develop your own press kit or work with My Press Release Writer to create it, allow time to order and load USB drives, make printed copies of the materials and assemble the kits. We recommend starting the process in early January.
